Individual lane control

Run different samples, IPG strips and isoelectric focusing protocols in up to 12 lanes simultaneously for optimizing experimental conditions faster or for running multiple experiments at once.

Total confidence

Traditional IEF cells have one power supply and average current across all lanes. Differences in samples across the lanes can produce inconsistent results. With 12 separate power supplies, the i12 system lets you set the exact current limit for each IPG strip. Samples cannot affect each other, giving you better reproducibility.

System flexibility

Innovative tray and electrode design allows running IPG strips gel-side down or gel-side up and loading with sample cups. Electrodes and sample cup holders snap in and out of all six tray sizes.

Intuitive touch screen

Touch screen user interface makes setting up runs, creating and editing protocols and managing your data easy and intuitive.

USB port

USB port eliminates the need for a dedicated computer and lets you transfer your data to Excel or the PROTEAN i12 Reporter (www.i12reporter.com) for easy generation of graphs and reports

PROTEAN i12 Reporter

Create graphs and reports using the PROTEAN i12 Reporter, a free web-based application for analyzing run data generated by the system. The web application can also be used to create protocols and transfer them back to the instrument. www.i12reporter.com
